The race will take place on June 8, 2019, in Elmont, New York, and will be broadcast on NBC from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm EDT with coverage of the undercard on NBCSN starting at 2:30 pm.[1] There will be no Triple Crown winner, as Kentucky Derby winner Country House did not run in the Preakness Stakes, due to his trainer detecting a virus.[2]
